Event Description :
A Support Group for those affected by Alzheimer's and related dementia. Living with Alzheimer’s disease or a related memory disorder is challenging. Mulberry Gardens of Southington, located at 58 Mulberry Street, proudly offers a monthly support group for families and caregivers. This support group will begin at 6:30PM. Led by Jennifer Doty, BSW and Lori Spencer, Activities Director, the group covers topics including communication techniques, caregiver support, wandering, religion, music, behavior, family dynamics, validation breakthrough, and more. We can provide you with hints, community support and a safe environment to listen or share your thoughts.
